General Information

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a worldwide recognized foundation despite its origin in the United States. The scientific studies it carries out and supports shed light on health all over the world, and it is the most accepted institution in the world and sets new rules, especially with the first aid, automatic external defibrillator use and training programs it has developed especially in advanced cardiac life support. Established in 1924, the American Heart Foundation has invested $4.1 billion in the advancement of science to date. The American Heart Foundation, which provides training in more than 80 countries, provides training to an average of 22 million people annually and contributes to people's holding on to life.

Studies show that every 1 minute of delayed intervention in arrest cases reduces the chance of the patient's return to life by 7-10%. In order to be able to intervene with up-to-date information without wasting time, it is necessary to be ready both theoretically and practically. There have been dramatic changes in BLS algorithms in the last 10 years.
