Medico Marketing Specialist Certification Program

The MedikoMarketing Expertise Certification Program is a comprehensive training program aimed at training professionals who embrace a scientific data-driven, ethically-based, and innovative marketing approach in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. General Information

This program aims to train a new generation of Medico Marketing professionals who embrace a data-driven marketing understanding in line with the rapidly changing dynamics of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge in the core areas of medico marketing, such as brand management, thought leader relationships, pricing, promotion, and relationships with regulatory authorities; they will also gain practical experience through real cases from professionals actively working in the industry.

Fundamentals of Marketing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (8 hours)

•  The place, role and job description of the Marketing department in the pharmaceutical industry

•  Stakeholders in the product life cycle

•  Field promotional activities in the pharmaceutical industry

•  Competitive Analysis and market research 

•  Segmentation and Positioning

•  Marketing channels, Marketing tools

•  Brief preparation, promotional materials and visual applications

Strategic Marketing Plan (8 hours)

•  Creating a brand team and preparing the marketing plan

•  What is a "Claim"? The difference between scientific messages and marketing language. 

•  Ethical and legal boundaries, promotional regulations

•  Promotional material approval processes in Turkey and globally

Authority Relations, Licensing, Pricing and Reimbursement Strategies (4 Hours)

•  Licensing the product and the responsibilities of the product team in this process

•  Refund systems, different refund solutions

•  Communication with health authorities (TİTCK, SGK, EÜAŞ, FDA, etc.)

Certification

In order to receive a "Certificate", it is necessary to meet the 80% attendance requirement and get 70 or above from the exam to be held at the end of the course.

Participants who fail to pass the exam by meeting the attendance requirement will be given a "Participation Certificate".
