Psychosocial Approaches in Cancer Introduction to Psycho-Oncology Training
Introduction to Psycho-Oncology certificate program is a training program designed to improve the skills of individuals to provide psychological support during health and disease processes. Since psycho-oncology is a field that focuses on the psychological difficulties experienced by cancer patients and their relatives, this program provides important information from both clinical and health psychology perspectives.
Cancer, defined as a chronic disease today, causes many psychosocial problems in individuals from the moment of diagnosis to the period when disease-free survival is achieved.
