EEG (Electroencephalography) Training

Electroencephalography, or EEG, which is used to measure electrical activity in the human brain, is a safe test that has been used in the world since the 1940s to determine neurological problems. Thanks to EEG, which monitors and records brain waves, neurologists have preliminary information about many diseases.

General Information

The human brain, which produces low electrical currents, has a complex structure. Electroencephalography (EEG) is a test used to record electrical activity in the brain. The EEG device, which records the electrical waves produced by nerve cells in the brain, detects whether and where functional disorders in the brain are present or not. The test, which is performed by sticking electrodes (thin cables) made of silver or gold-containing alloys to the head with the help of gel, is applied to have an idea about many neurological diseases.
